Thank You for Your Interest in an REMMS Home
It takes a lot to be called an REMMS home. We do not accept all homes with our Company. We expect our homes to maintain a high level of cleanliness and closely monitor all repairs within the home to ensure the home stays updated.
Here is the process described briefly:
1. Viewing the Property
Regular showing hours are Mon – Fri from 9am to 4:00pm
a. You may schedule a viewing of the property to view in person. (please note that an additional surcharge may be applied for after hours, government holidays, and night showings). Saturday showings are available at no additional charge.
b. We offer video chat showings such as Faectime, Skype, etc. There may be a Youtube video link of the property available. (Please inquire.)
c. You may rent a property without viewing it, or by allowing a friend to view it, but your rental lease is final upon signing.
2. Getting Approved
a. Pay a $50 non-refundable rental application fee for each adult who will sign the lease agreement.
b. If qualified, this will put a 24-hour hold on the property for you to get the amount required.
c. Rental applications are completed online
3. Pay the Deposits and Pro-Rated Rent
a. A calculation of the total amount due to rent the property will be given.
b. The hold comes off the property if the payment is not received within 24hours of being approved for any property.
4. Moving in the Home
a. You will receive our REMMS Tenant Homecare Presentation, so you can be confident in knowing how to care for your rental.
b. You will receive a Tenant Handbook with information about Utilities, Trash pick-up, Places to Visit, etc.
c. You will receive 2 sets of keys with NEW locks on ALL doors.
